SAAHO Review - First Day Reports

SAAHO is a 2019 Action, thriller, directed by Sujeeth, starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor. After the Sensational movies – Baahubali 1 and 2, Prabhas with his reach and stardom on all over the world, with the huge budget  of 350cr and nail biting stunts that promoted in the promos and trailers, the movie was easily a highly anticipated one. 

Was it worth the wait? Unfortunately a big “NO!!”. It’s like a costly vehicle with rich in features, but won’t run due to a failed engine.

The film was top in the cast’s performance, especially Prabhas, Shraddha, Neil and Arun Vijay. Some of the action scenes really looked good but the excitement made reduced with the over VFX. The VFX was overly highlighted throughout the movie, It reduced the intensity of the scenes. Mostly predictable story and screenplay. The romantic portions was intolerable, it destroyed the movie’s flow. Precisely, the film could have been trimmed 30 minutes. 

The story and the below average direction made the movie to go into a below average category. The whole two years and the huge budget is wasted. At least, the director should have been selected local cast instead of choosing the big cast and Prabhas shouldn’t be doing this  movie. The climax portions was good.

One can watch this movie, if you are ready to enjoy a normal film without any expectations, if you can tolerate the over dramatic scenes. Watch this for a good cinematography, Prabhas’s mass and some good action scenes and Visual Effects.
