Love Action Drama Review - First Day Reports

Love Action Drama is a Malayalam comedy entertainer written and directed by Dhyan Sreenivasan, starring Nivin Pauly, Nayanthara in lead role. The movie is all about fun and entertainment and it fully shows justice to the genre. The movie portrays the love and drama in between Dineshan  and Shobha, played by Nivin and Nayanthara respectively. After a long time, Nivin Pauly is back with his signature style, that’s loved by the audience. The  Nivin – Aju combo was  always special. Their on-screen comedy timings and friendship always worked out, the same worked for Love Action Drama too. LAD (Love Action Drama) has lot of moments to laugh your hearts out.

Some scenes fall flat, on the other side, most of the comedy one liners was hilarious. The chemistry between the casts well worked. Nayanthara with her beauty made the film colorful. The songs by Shaan Rahman and the cinematography by Jomon helped the movie a lot. The Kudukku Song was exceptional. 

The pre-interval scenes and the climax portions was interesting. Vineeth Sreenivasan with an another funny character like Thanneermathan Dinangal. Nayanthara – the Lady Superstar is definitely was the highlight of LAD. She made the screen even more colorful with her beauty, and the chemistry with Nivin well worked. 

Story wise the movie have nothing to offer new. Apart from some flaws in script and direction, this is definitely an above average to good work from Dhyan Sreenivasan considering this is his first movie. He almost succeeded to bring back that Vineeth Sreenivasan magic. He needs to more focus on writing department next time. You can enjoy this movie with your family on this festival season. It has lot of fun. A good commercial entertainer that lacks an interesting, linked story.

PS: Don’t go for a serious, logical movie. Go for a commercial, comedy festive entertainer.
