A Virus that locked the World!

I’m Sorry, The Earth is closed Today! Remember the scene?? These are the words said by Tony / Iron Man in Avengers Infinity War. This is exactly what the current scenario is. Yeah, the earth (not entire though) is temporarily locked down for a better future.

In amidst of this lockdown season to prevent the spread of COVID 19 or Coronavirus, almost 1/4th of the world population are locked down at their home, practising the mandatory social distancing.

Leaving no one behind, the COVID had affected everyone including daily waged people to the millionaires, politicians etc. The lockdown is expected to remain as it is at least for another fortnight. This deadly virus had affected millions of people’s life by causing various abnormalities that they never saw. These are the days where the world economy is struggling and several countries are in fear of collapse. The people are passing through fiery days with the spread and casualties caused by the COVID 19. The businesses are facing losses, which force them to lay off and implementing unpaid leaves like procedures. It’s business as usual for most of the companies with the employees work virtually by work from home.

While the e-commerce, media, internet, delivery platforms, health care industry saw a huge increase in business, the majority of industries got affected by this Coronavirus impact. The tourism, F&B, hospitality, airline, automobile industry affected the most. This is also resulting in the domination of Digital platforms to support the businesses. It’s a huge traffic time for the Social Media and Media streaming platforms. Due to the rise in internet usage recently, digital streaming platforms like Amazon Prime and Netflix temporarily stopped HD streaming. As a result of this disastrous pandemic, a change in lifestyle and outlook will be visible in the future. At least some of us used to complain about the lack of time we are getting to spend with our family, now you got a hell lot of time to spend with your families, consider this as a holiday from your daily schedules. Many got a good chance to learn some new skills. In a perspective, this COVID virus comes with a package of opportunities which can benefit our future.   • If you are required to go out during any ‘unavoidable/emergency situations’, get the pre-approval from your nearest police station or authorities.
  • Follow social distancing by at least maintaining a 1.5m distance between other people.
  • Wear masks and wear gloves before going out.
  • Keep a hand sanitizer and use it regularly.
  • Save the number of relevant medical or defence help desk as provided by your government.
  • If you feel any symptoms, go to the hospital and get checked as soon as possible, without having more contacts.
  • If you have any withdrawal symptoms due to not consuming the tobacco or alcohol, approach the authority as soon as possible, they will help you to get the proper treatment from the de-addiction centre.
  • Use food, water, internet etc. wisely. Don’t waste and overstock.
  • Follow the instructions of Government.
  • Contact the helpline number if you need any kind of relevant help.
  • Don’t panic, all these regulation are only to avoid the community spread of Coronavirus.
